Responsibilities
As a Graduate Sales Traineeship, your responsibilities will include:
- Sales Target Achievement
- Sell the assigned portfolio of products in the designated region.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Drive consistent sales performance by building and managing a strong sales pipeline.
- Territory Management & Business Planning
- Develop strategic territory business plans that emphasize product usage, brand recommendations, and sales growth.
- Work closely with inside sales and marketing teams to maximize territory coverage and sales efficiency.
- Customer Relationship & Business Partnerships
- Establish and maintain consultative relationships with key customers and partners.
- Resolve customer queries promptly, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.
- Sales Promotions & Product Mix
- Deploy sales promotion activities to boost product movement and optimize product mix.
- Ensure that Philips has prominent shelf presence and in-store visibility in all relevant retail accounts.
- Stock & Inventory Management
- Monitor stock availability, mitigate out-of-stock situations, and ensure regular order collection.
- Support merchandising activities and ensure strong product display in key accounts.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
- Monitor KPIs such as opportunities created, win ratio, forecast vs bookings, AR overdue %, and more.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams
- Collaborate with account managers, pricing teams, and marketing departments to optimize sales strategies.
- Train internal teams on product features and best-selling techniques.
- Continuous Improvement & LEAN Practices
- Drive operational improvements and enhanced efficiency through LEAN methodologies and continuous feedback loops.
