Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive test plan, defining scope and required resources.
- Create detailed test cases based on project requirements, ensuring coverage.
- Design test scenarios for diverse use cases, considering various scenarios.
- Execute test cases manually or through automated tools, ensuring thorough testing.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and collaborate on the resolution of defects.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, emphasizing efficiency.
- Implement and execute automated testing frameworks to ensure scalability.
- Work collaboratively with developers and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Actively participate in design and code reviews, contributing to the overall quality of the software.
Skills
- Strong programming skills and a mindset inclined towards automation.
- Thorough understanding of testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Java/JavaScript/Typescript).
- Highly adept at debugging issues with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with API testing and the ability to write UI and API automated tests.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with build pipelines.
- Knowledge of services offered by cloud platform providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with web application architecture and the general client-server model.
- Comfortable working in agile teams using the Sprint/Scrum methodology.
