Responsibilities

As a Junior Engineer at Valeo, your responsibilities will include:

Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Defining CAD models (3D or 2D) based on design specifications or CAD elements provided by PTM RD/Design Leaders/Design Engineers.
Creating 3D models consistent with mould/plastics constraints, clash/clearance with other components, or mechanical constraints.

Defining 2D drawings adhering to drawing rules, layout, and functional tolerances.
Ensuring the 2D/3D definition of components follows CAD methodology rules, maintains CAD model quality, and complies with CAD quality tools and checklists.
Handling small technical definitions (Clip, locating, etc.) or local area design (Standard integration, strengthen ribs, harness, etc.).

Following and promoting quality procedures.
Validating and monitoring all CAD data related to the project inside VLS Branch PDM/PLM systems.
Managing CAD tasks, including potentially piloting CAD operators and overseeing CAD operations.
