Responsibilities

• Test Data Management:
  Design, generate, and maintain high-quality test data to support functional, integration, and regression testing. Ensure comprehensive data coverage for all testing needs.
• Database Management:
  Use SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to create, query, and manipulate large datasets. Manage data across relational and non-relational databases to support test scenarios.
• Data Refresh & Synchronization:
  Develop strategies to refresh and synchronize data across multiple test environments, ensuring consistency and reliability in data during test execution.
• Automation:
  Create and maintain automated workflows for test data generation, improving test cycle efficiency and reducing manual effort.
• Data Integrity & Quality Assurance:
  Ensure that test data meets the required quality standards and is accurate, consistent, and suitable for different types of testing. Implement data validation checks.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Development teams to understand test case requirements and provide tailored data solutions.
• Issue Resolution:
  Identify and troubleshoot data-related issues encountered during testing. Provide timely fixes with minimal disruption to testing activities.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  Document all test data processes, workflows, and data architecture. Regularly report on the status of data availability, refreshes, and synchronizations.

Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL – capable of writing complex queries and optimizing them for performance.
• Experience or exposure to PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Understanding of relational and non-relational database structures.
• Basic knowledge of test automation workflows.
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills for identifying data inconsistencies or corruption.
• Familiarity with test environments, staging systems, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Eligibity Criteria

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
• Are enthusiastic about working with databases and test automation.
• Have done internships, projects, or coursework involving SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Can work independently and in cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
• Are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced testing and QA environment.
