Nvidia is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for positions in Pune and Bengaluru. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in crafting tools and services to construct driving scenario tests and assess the Autonomous Vehicle software stack on the cloud, ensuring it meets deployment standards for real cars. We are seeking interns with a strong passion for developing tools and infrastructure to accelerate the qualification process for Autonomous Vehicle software.

Responsibility
- Develop tools and frameworks essential for implementing behavioral tests for driving scenarios in Autonomous Vehicle software.
- Collaborate closely with Autonomous Vehicle teams and cloud platform teams, gaining a deep understanding of technical requirements in the AV domain.
- Innovate solutions for the evolution of software development and debugging platforms in the next generation.
- Demonstrate your creativity and technical prowess to contribute to the realization of the future of self-driving cars.
- Apply expertise in algorithms and data structures to enhance the efficiency of driving scenario tests.
- Implement principles of parallel computing to optimize software performance in Autonomous Vehicle systems.
- Utilize programming languages such as Python and GoLang to build robust and scalable solutions for AV software development.
Eligibility Criteria
- A robust academic foundation is required.
- Currently pursuing M. Tech/BTech in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication.
- Comprehensive understanding of programming languages, processor architecture, and Operating System Fundamentals.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and autonomous vehicles is advantageous.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Candidates are expected to have a strong background in their academic pursuits.
Better If You Have
- Experience in the autonomous vehicles domain, including knowledge of standards and processes.
- Proficiency in distributed system design and expertise in ETL mechanisms within distributed systems.
- Understanding of Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
- Enthusiasm to collaborate and contribute to the development of supporting infrastructure such as CI/CD and DevOps.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team are essential.
