Responsibilities
- Coding, development, and testing of software applications.
- Full life-cycle programming and adherence to design requirements.
- Ensure smooth flow of development activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Identify and evaluate IT and business challenges.
- Translate between non-technical business users and IT technical solutions.
- Provide excellent client service and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
- Creation of Technical Specifications (Tech Specs) and unit test plans.
- On-call support for software-related issues.
- Possess knowledge of Life insurance products, including UL, Term, Whole Life, Annuities, and Group Insurance Products.
Skills
- Proficiency in COBOL on a LINUX platform, JCL, and CICS.
- Knowledge of system development methodology, project management, and system architecture.
- Exceptional influencing and communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of Java (preferred).
- LOMA certification (preferred).
Eligibility Criteria
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 0- 2 years of experience in software development.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments, including AWS or GCP.
- Previous work on TVOS applications using UIKit and SwiftUI.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid work model.
