Description

As an MS Engineer at NTT, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel. Your responsibilities will involve diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, or networked and/or wireless systems. The role also includes responding to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems and may involve customer installation and training.

Responsibilities

Ensure configuration, installation, testing, and operation of assigned infrastructure at client sites.

Perform necessary checks, apply monitoring tools, and respond to alerts promptly.
Identify and log incidents, problems, and errors with the required level of detail.
Analyze, assign, and escalate support calls, investigating third-line support calls and identifying root causes.

Report and escalate issues to third-party vendors when necessary.
Provide onsite technical support and field engineering services to clients.
Conduct monthly random reviews of incidents and service requests, recommending improvements in quality.

Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization, including automation possibilities.

Required Experience

Demonstrated work experience in an Engineering function within a medium to large ICT organization.
Experience in Managed Services and working knowledge of ITIL processes.
Experience collaborating with vendors and/or third parties.
