As a Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to solving critical challenges in safety and security. In this role, you will analyze, develop, design, and maintain software for the organization’s products and systems, with a focus on messaging microservices within a proof-of-concept system. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our messaging solutions.

Responsibilities
- Analyze, develop, design, and maintain software for messaging microservices within a proof-of-concept system.
- Perform system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
- Develop, validate, and test structures and user documentation.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of messaging solutions.
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Hands-on experience in Core Java, advanced Java, Spring Boot, JDBC, Messaging Broker (such as Rabbit MQ).
- Knowledge of OpenID Connect, OAuth2, JWT, JWS, JWKS, JPA, and asymmetric encryption.
- Exposure to Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Self-organized with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in software development and maintenance.
- Familiarity with messaging solutions and system integration.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and methodologies.
