Morgan Stanley is hiring freshers for the role of Technology Summer Analyst. B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA graduates are eligible, and batch 2024 graduates can also apply. The Summer Analyst role is a 2-month internship starting in May of each year, offering a real-world, project-based experience. Summer Analysts are placed into specific development or infrastructure teams to work on live projects relevant to Morgan Stanley.

Responsibilities
- Development Teams:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications used by the Firm’s business units.
- Gather and analyze requirements, make system design decisions, evaluate, integrate, and develop necessary software.
- Test and deploy applications to production.
- Develop high-performing low-latency electronic trading systems, risk management analytics, and complex workflows.
- Infrastructure Teams:
- Develop cutting-edge systems to run the business.
- Provide tools, applications, and platforms such as networks, computing hardware, operating systems, and databases for various applications.
- Work in small, nimble teams to provide efficient applications that span the breadth of the Firm’s clients.
Skills
- Bachelors or Masters student in the penultimate year of study.
- Preferred majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C++, C#) and database knowledge.
- Operating system knowledge (Windows and Unix).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, experience in object-oriented development, good comprehension of data structures, algorithms, and complexity theory.
- Strong database and scripting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English.
