Responsibilities
- Analyze and extract value from data using methods such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, machine learning, and data visualization.
- Formulate hypotheses and test them using mathematical and statistical techniques.
- Understand business challenges, create actionable insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Enable data-driven decision-making by creating custom models or prototypes, emphasizing implications.
- Apply mathematical, statistical, and machine-learning techniques with a focus on technique limitations.
- Develop processes, techniques, and tools for analyzing and monitoring model performance while ensuring data accuracy.
- Evaluate the need for analytics, assess problems to be solved, and determine appropriate mathematical and statistical techniques.
- Contribute to exploration and experimentation in data visualization, managing reviews of analytics techniques, and recommending improvements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Strong quantitative skillset with experience in statistics and linear algebra.
- Natural inclination towards solving complex problems.
- Knowledge/experience with statistical programming languages like R, Python, SQL, etc.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their applications.
- Experience in advanced statistical techniques and concepts, including regression, distribution properties, and statistical testing.
- Good communication skills to facilitate cross-team collaboration.
- Multilingual coding knowledge/experience: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, etc.
- Knowledge/experience in statistics and data mining techniques.
- Ability to use data visualization tools to showcase data for stakeholders.
