As a Software Developer at IBM, you will lead the company into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and analysis of customer issues.
- Managing customer expectations and relationships. Setting up test scenarios to duplicate problems.
- Composition of knowledge base articles describing reported issues and their resolution.
- Escalating defects to Level 3 for review and administration of communication and fixes between the customer and Level 3 support.
- Providing production down weekend support (on rotation) to customers in system down scenarios.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0-3 years of experience
- Core Java / JEE preferred or proficiency in any programming language
- Troubleshooting skills, especially Java code/logs/Database troubleshooting skills (DB2 or Oracle), Troubleshooting JMS/MQ
- Customer-facing role includes shifts/weekend support on a rotation basis
- Quick learner and ability to pick up new products on on-prem and cloud
Experience In
- JSON, XML, SQL
- Web Servers, WebSphere Liberty, Oracle, and DB2 expertise
- Knowledge in Linux, Understanding of DevOps
- Familiarity with GitHub/enterprise deployments, handling performance issues
- Preferable Automotive domain understanding
- Mandatory knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
