Hexagon is seeking a dynamic Software Consultant to join its team in India. As a Software Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting customers, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to Hexagon Solutions. The position involves collaboration with global teams, interacting with solution development teams, and documenting design issues. You will contribute to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and enhancing product functionality.

The Asset Lifecycle Intelligence (ALI) division focuses on transforming unstructured information into smart digital assets, enabling the visualization, construction, and management of structures and facilities across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with global teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Hexagon Solutions.
  • Interact with solution development and ownership teams to investigate problems and provide customer feedback.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurately document support activities and outcomes, maintaining a knowledge base.
  • Develop proficiencies in Customer Relationship Management systems.
  • Adhere to customer service level objectives and contribute to exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop technical documents, instructions, and training materials.
  • Stay updated on the current Hexagon solution portfolio through training and sprint reviews.
  • Perform technical tasks in support of the Asset Management application for Asset Lifecycle Management.
  • Build competencies across the “Asset Lifecycle Intelligence” division solution portfolio.
  • Have a strong understanding of software support principles and general software administration.
  • Conduct customer training and engage in presales and service activities as required.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in project engineering, working with asset management, asset lifecycle, and material management tools.
  • Proficiency with database systems like SQL or Oracle.
  • Strong competency with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite.
  • Previous experience in a customer support role is a plus.
  • Oracle DB experience is an additional advantage.
