The Software Development Leadership Program (SDLP) at GE Digital offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about growing their leadership, business acumen, and technical skills. This full-time, two-year leadership development program provides members with hands-on experience, working on challenging projects alongside some of the brightest technical minds globally.

About

  • Two-year leadership development program working alongside senior Engineering leaders and program managers at GE Digital.
  • Four, six-month rotational assignments covering diverse projects in areas such as Product Management, Software Development, Quality Assurance, Software Maintenance, Services Engineering, and more.
  • Global classroom experience and virtual coursework focused on technical training, leadership, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Work on challenging projects alongside senior Engineering leaders and program managers.
  • Rotate through four six-month assignments covering various areas of software development and engineering.
  • Engage in global classroom experience and virtual coursework to enhance technical skills, leadership abilities, and business acumen.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and critical thinking in project or team leadership roles.
  • Collaborate across departments to establish clarity, vision, and mutual trust to achieve business goals.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other relevant STEM majors with 2 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ years of experience.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent.
  • Graduating from university in time to start SDLP in June or early July 2023 (Summer Start).
  • Must be open to geographic mobility if requested by the business.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
