About
As a Master Data Management Engineer at Gartner, you will play a crucial role in designing and building Master Data Management functionality to enable better Master Data across the organization. You will maintain the highest data quality standards demanded by Gartner, leveraging state-of-the-art technologies in data engineering, data operations, and data mastering within a cloud-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, design solutions, and implement functionality related to Master Data Management (MDM).
- Build and maintain Data Pipelines using SQL and AWS technologies like Glue and Python.
- Develop and configure web services, pub-sub queues, and Event-Driven Architecture components.
- Follow best practices and industry standards while implementing Data Engineering and Mastering functions.
- Utilize Master Data Management tools like Ataccama and in-house tools to ensure filtering, mastering, and data quality rules are properly enabled and tested.
- Engage in day-to-day data operations, including troubleshooting data pipelines, monitoring, and maintaining job schedules.
Skills
- 1 to 2 years of experience in cloud-based (preferably AWS) data engineering.
- Expert-level coding skills in Python or Java.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analytics, with the ability to troubleshoot complex stored procedures and performance issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attitude and aptitude to learn, collaborate, and work towards common goals as part of a team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduates/Postgraduates with a preference for BE/BTech, ME/MTech, or MCA.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently within but interact with a team collaboratively in a fast-paced AGILE environment.
- Strong commitment to improving Master Data quality and trust across the organization.
- Desire to continually improve skills in tools and technologies.
