Skills
- Data Warehousing and ETL: Hands-on experience in data warehousing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load).
- Snowflake Development: Proficient in hands-on development using Snowflake, with experience in Snowflake modeling, including roles, schema, and databases.
- Integration: Experience in integrating with third-party tools, ETL, and DBT (Data Build Tool) tools.
- Advanced Snowflake Concepts: Familiarity with advanced Snowflake concepts such as setting up resource monitors and performance tuning is preferable.
- Programming Skills: Applying object-oriented and functional programming styles to real-world Big Data Engineering problems using Java, Scala, or Python.
- Data Pipelines: Developing data pipelines for batch and real-time/stream analytics on structured and unstructured data.
- Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, to enhance Snowflake’s products.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, with 10-14 years of industry experience.
- Working experience in an Agile-based delivery methodology is preferable.
- Flexible, proactive, and self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in both formal and informal settings.
- Technical expertise in all aspects of Snowflake.
- Proven experience deploying Snowflake following best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer to customers for self-enablement.
- Hands-on work with customers to demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices.
- Deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors in relation to Snowflake.
- Collaborating with System Integrator consultants at a deep technical level to successfully position and deploy Snowflake in customer environments.
- Providing guidance on resolving customer-specific technical challenges.
