Responsibilities
As an AI Engineer at Esko, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Data Processing: Play a crucial role in collecting and processing data, ensuring it is clean, accurate, and ready for training AI models.
- AI Software Development: Model, build, and test AI software to handle large datasets and achieve desired results. Utilize Python, JavaScript, and C++ for creating efficient and capable AI solutions.
- Analysis and Recommendations: Analyze statistics, data, and algorithms for accurate projections. Make strategy recommendations aligning with company goals using AI analysis.
- Collaboration: Work with a team of machine-learning and data engineers to ensure seamless AI development and integration. Stay updated on AI knowledge, trends, and regulations.
- Reporting: Collect, organize, and present progress to team leadership and stakeholders.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Five years of experience as an AI Engineer or in a similar role.
- Understanding of current database technology and relational algebra.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and C++ programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of statistics, data science, linear algebra, and algorithms.
- Strong analytical skills for making strategic recommendations.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to advancements in the field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of Generative AI Application on AWS is considered an added advantage.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (master’s degree preferred).
