Description

The primary purpose of the Data Analyst role is to support Lifecycle Services with data-related tasks that facilitate business development, analysis, and reporting. The Data Analyst will report to the Business Development Manager of Lifecycle Services. This position involves managing master data sets, developing initial reports, data cleansing, solving data issues, and identifying business opportunities. The role also includes participating in various business process improvements, enabling the acquisition and application of continuous improvement methodologies and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Master Data Management: Manage master data, including creation, validation, sourcing, deletion, and active maintenance of Flow Control Products install base at customer sites.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance of imported data with proper validation and cleaning practices.
  • Process Automation: Facilitate the streamlining of laborious manual processes through automated solutions.
  • Reporting Requirements: Support the data warehouse by identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Report Generation: Generate reports from single or multiple systems, ensuring proper collaboration with other groups in the organization.
  • Database Management: Solve issues related to the reporting database environment and reports.
  • System Updates: Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Data Support: Provide support in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing for aftermarket business (KOB3) related programs.
  • Business Potential Identification: Support in identifying underlying KOB3 business potential from the install base data.
  • Customer Account Management: Follow up and actively manage customer site account plans with install base data.
  • Other Duties: Perform any other duties as deemed appropriate by your line manager.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or engineering degree.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in data analysis or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Good understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases. Proficiency in software skills such as MS Office, MS Excel, and Power BI. Experience with Excel queries and macro development.
  • Additional Knowledge: Knowledge of process flow, data gathering, and continuous improvement methodologies.
