As an Integration Developer at Emerson, located in Chandigarh, India, you’ll play a vital role within the Data Services and Application Development team. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and supporting integration applications for the Business of IT. Specializing in integration technologies like MuleSoft, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn the latest API development frameworks based on Java/JavaScript.

Responsibilities
- Develop integration application services/APIs using MuleSoft or any integration platform/toolset.
- Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code to ensure the best performance and quality of applications.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and bugs in integration processes.
- Collaborate with peer developers and management to ensure quality delivery to the business.
- Conduct unit testing and user acceptance testing with stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into efficient integration toolset flows.
- Maintain application code to resolve customer issues and ensure timely bug resolution.
- Explore the latest technologies and toolsets in the integration/API development area.
- Work effectively in a global team environment.
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in Integration/API development.
- Proficiency in integration tools, preferably MuleSoft.
- Understanding of integration application flows.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, XSD, XQuery, etc.
- Basic understanding of MuleSoft server and deployment processes.
- Familiarity with file transfer systems and protocols like FTP/SFTP/FTPS.
- Understanding of messaging standards like SOAP/REST.
- Knowledge of Java/J2EE language/framework is a plus.
- Ability to perform issue analysis and problem-solving independently.
- Understanding of database systems and ability to write basic SQL commands.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Positive attitude towards learning new technologies.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Master’s in Computer Applications.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with MuleSoft, Java 8, and RESTful API/Microservices.
