Responsibilities
- As a Jr. Software Developer at Cognizant, you will contribute to the Application Development & Management (ADM) practice.
- This involves analyzing, designing, programming, and testing software programs and applications across industries.
- The role plays a crucial part in enterprise modernization, aiding clients in achieving high business agility in a digital world.
- New hires will receive training in specific technical skills to enhance core competencies and foster career growth.

Skills
- Working knowledge in an object-oriented programming (OOP) language (Java or C#/.NET).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies.
- Preferred experience with full-stack development (front-end, back-end, databases).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning newer technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for virtual and in-person team discussions.
- Ability to collaborate with global project teams.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Associate’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Due to the nature of this position, Cognizant cannot provide sponsorship for U.S. work authorization (including participation in a CPT/OPT program) for this role.
