Responsibilities

  • As a Full-Stack Web Developer, your mission is to contribute to Cantilever’s success by building digital technology aligned with the needs of our clients’ users.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining accessible and performant front-end website architecture and back-end applications.
  • You’ll continuously enhance and optimize client websites, manage project priorities, and collaborate remotely to bring designs to life.
  • Ensuring website accessibility, SEO optimizations, upholding code integrity, and resolving bugs and performance issues are integral aspects of your role.

Skills

Your competencies cover a spectrum of areas essential for success in this role:

  1. Frontend Development: Mastery in markup, clean styling, and DRY components in HTML/CSS/JS, along with proficiency in frameworks like React.js.
  2. Backend Development: Ability to construct full new features within MVC frameworks and common CMSes, integrating backend logic with frontend code seamlessly.
  3. Debugging and Optimization: Proven capability to diagnose and address bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  4. Design Fidelity: Skill in delivering visual fidelity to design mocks without resorting to hacky code.
  5. Web Accessibility: Strong understanding and advocacy for web accessibility principles.
  6. Build Process Expertise: Knowledge of creating seamless and robust build processes for long-term efficiency.

Eligibility Criteria

To thrive in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 0-2 years of industry experience.
