This internship offers a unique opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in India, with occasional travel to our Mumbai office as needed for business requirements or team events. As part of the Cactus Labs team, you will have full ownership of your work, collaborating with a multi-cultural team spread across 6+ countries.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of work and code, contributing to the dynamic Cactus Labs team.

Collaborate closely with various team members, including Big Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Big Data/Cloud Architects, and Domain SMEs, to build and design solutions.
Contribute to product direction and user understanding by gaining a comprehensive understanding of our products and users.
Actively participate in code reviews, setting high standards for the team.

Innovate and quickly adapt to new technologies, experimenting with bleeding-edge tech and implementing them at scale.

Eligibility Criteria

Previous internship/project experience with Python to write highly efficient and scalable functional code.
Familiarity or experience with Apache Spark.

Previous internship/project experience with cloud environments, especially AWS. Knowledge of GCP/Azure is a plus.
Familiarity or experience with Elasticsearch is a big plus.
Fundamental knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
