Emerson is looking for an Associate Engineer to join our Pune-based team, where innovation meets engineering excellence. Responsibilities
  • Design and implement User Interfaces that comply with rigorous functional safety requirements.

  • Participate in software development activities such as peer reviews, debugging, and unit testing.

  • Use version control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN) to manage and track code changes.

  • Create and execute unit and integration test cases for verifying UI functionality.

  • Perform embedded software testing and address integration issues with hardware.

  • Propose UI improvements and resolve inefficiencies through analysis and redesign.

  • Utilize hardware tools like logic analyzers, meters, and sniffing tools to support development.

Skills

  • Proficiency in EDDL, C, and C++ programming languages.

  • Understanding of GUI or embedded UI development.

  • Knowledge of digital communication protocols such as HART, Modbus, Ethernet, Profinet, and BLE.

  • Familiarity with serial protocols like SPI, I2C, CAN.

  • Experience using version control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN).

  • Basic knowledge of microcontroller architectures (8-bit to 32-bit).

  • Ability to write and execute test cases and integration scripts.

  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering, or M.Sc. in Electronics.

  • 0–2 years of development experience in software engineering or embedded systems.

  • Strong interest in user interface development and embedded systems testing.
