Responsibilities

Learn and apply tax compliance standards across various corporate and partnership tax projects.

Gather and manage tax data and documentation for U.S. federal, state, and international tax return filings.

Utilize KPMG’s proprietary tax tools to analyze and process financial data for client deliverables.

Handle multiple tasks efficiently within defined deadlines and maintain quality control standards.

Collaborate with team leads to ensure seamless project execution and client service.

Participate in periodic training sessions to build expertise in tax compliance processes and technology.

Apply knowledge of BTE (1120), AMP (1065), GoRS, and OIT in day-to-day tasks.

Populate and process simple federal and state tax returns and non-U.S. tax data.

Demonstrate effective self-review practices to ensure accurate and high-quality output.

Communicate effectively with internal clients and contribute as a collaborative team member.
Skills
-
Beginner-level proficiency in:
-
BTE (1120) or AMP (1065) for federal/state compliance.

Tax technology tools (Alteryx, GoRS, OIT).

U.S. tax software for corporate and partnership returns.

Understanding of manual and automated book/tax differences.
-
Ability to populate simple tax returns and support international tax form filings.

Good research and problem-solving skills for basic tax-related queries.

Strong Microsoft Excel and document management skills.

Good organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.

Awareness of tax compliance requirements and industries relevant to corporate entities.
Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or MBA in Finance from a reputable institution.

0–1 year of work experience (internships or project work in finance/taxation is a plus).

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Basic understanding of U.S. corporate and partnership tax regulations.
