Responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of software systems, adhering to software engineering standards and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, debug, and maintain software code following technical design specifications.
- Adhere to Amdocs’ software engineering standards, methodologies, and release processes to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Investigate and resolve issues by debugging code and providing workarounds for existing software solutions.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team and actively contribute to peer code reviews with constructive feedback.
- Assume technical accountability for work products and support solution design for new requirements.
- Drive innovation and seek efficiency in all assigned tasks.
Skills
- Proficiency in C++ (server-side) on Linux/Unix/Windows platforms.
- Basic understanding of SQL, UNIX, and Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, open systems, and software development life cycle processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Eligibility Criteria
- Freshers job opening 2024: Bachelor’s degree in Science, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Open to graduates from 2024 and 2025.
- 0-11 months of experience in C++ development is advantageous but not mandatory
